Llewellyn Smalley was a two-time All-American in 1997 and 1998 and is HPU’s All-Time leader in points with 1,808. Smalley is tied for 1st in school history in games, 1^st in field goals, 1^st in three pointers, 3^rd in rebounds and 3^rd in steals. In 1998, Smalley was named the Hawai’i Intercollegiate Athletic Conference MVP and the Far West Region MVP. After HPU, Smalley played professionally from 1999-2006 in Europe.
