AZUSA, Calif. – The No. 6 Hawai'i Pacific University men won their 10th straight in an impressive fashion, shutting out No. 4 Indianapolis 4-0 on Wednesday at the Munson & Bavougian Tennis Complex.

The sixth ranked Sharks (10-0) took the doubles point from fourth ranked Greyhounds (9-2) and three singles matches to grab the big interregional match.

Once again, it came down to a tiebreaker to decide the doubles point for the Sharks. HPU won at No. 3 with Jan Heine and Benjamin Loccisano beating Nikolaj Talimaa and Jason Gerwek 6-2, only to have UIndy's 15th ranked pair of Tom Zeuch and Zac Faveri taking No. 1 over Jan Pleva and Jordi Walder 6-1. And for the second straight day, it was the 7-6 tiebreak win of No. 2 duo Jakub Beran and Robin Sanz over Edgar Destouet and Yoann Viel to put HPU up 1-0.

Then it was Heine leading the Sharks at No. 6 by beating Gerweck 4-6, 6-1, 6-1 for the first singles victory. The feature match at No. 1 went to HPU's eighth ranked Walder who bettered 22nd ranked Zeuch 7-5, 6-4 moments before 60th ranked Sanz beat Destouet at No. 3 2-6, 6-2, 7-5 to clinch the match. HPU was ahead in the unfinished spots as well. Beran at No. 4 was up on 37th ranked Viel 3-6, 6-2, 5-4 when halted, and Loccisano at No. 5 was leading Faveri 6-3, 4-6, 3-2.
