Biography

Personal: Born in Moanalua, Hawaii…parents are Nolly and Shantel…has three siblings; Dannah (25), Noah (16), and Dane (14)…Sharae’s hobbies include going to the beach, hanging out with family and her boyfriend, and sleeping…favorite food is everything…favorite movie genres are comedy and scary…her favorite athletes are her teammates…chose HPU because of the great softball team and a great school…in 10 years she would like to be a nurse…her major is currently undecided.

Prior to HPU: Graduated from Campbell High School…there she played softball at 2B and SS, under Coach David Perriera…she earned 1st Team All-State Utility, 2nd Team All-State, Honorable Mention, and Player of the Game on OC 16 in 2011 and 2012.

HPU: 2016: Redshirted 2015: Played in 45 games and started in 44. In  143 at-bats she scored 31 runs and walked 13 times. She drove in 31 RBI’s on 46 hit and stole 8 bases. She had 80 putouts, 132 assists, on a .955 fielding percentage. 2014: played in 31 games starting 29 and hit for a team high .370 average (34-92). She was second on the team in runs scored with 25 and in RBI’s with 26. Esprecion was also tied for the team lead in homeruns with four and led the team with a .630 slugging percentage and .474 on-base percentage. She also had six doubles, three triples and led the team with 19 walks. She was selected to the Second Team All – PacWest. Named to the All-PacWest Preseason Team. 2013: Played in 44 gamers, starting 27 games…in 81 at bats she hit .333 with 17 runs, three doubles, a triple and 15 RBI…posted a .419 on base percentage while successfully stealing 12 bases giving her the second highest total on the team...stole three bases against Simon Fraser (2/16/13)
