Bethany “Beth” Nakai, a 5’2 top and tumbler from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, brings international and collegiate experience to Hawai‘i Pacific. She competed in artistic gymnastics at the National Sport School under coaches Kiera Schrader-Balson, Janna Ball, and Kelsey Arnold before continuing her Acrobatics and Tumbling career at Calvin University, where she earned All-American Team One honors. A member of Team Alberta at the 2023 Canada Winter Games, Nakai adds strong competitive experience to the Sharks’ lineup. She is pursuing a degree in social work at HPU and chose the university for the opportunity to continue the sport she loves in a supportive environment.
