Evalyn “Evie” Wells, a 5’3 main base and tumbler from Henderson, Nevada, graduated from Coronado High School where she competed in cheer under coach Dawn Starry. While at Coronado, she gained additional recognition through dual enrollment with the University of Nevada, Reno and by completing CTE coursework in video production. At Hawai‘i Pacific, Wells is pursuing a nursing degree with aspirations of becoming an emergency nurse practitioner, and she chose HPU for its nursing program and location.
