Lia Johnson, a 5’7 base and tumbler from Eastvale, California, brings an accomplished background in gymnastics, cheer, and stunt to the Sharks’ Acrobatics and Tumbling program. A standout at Eleanor Roosevelt High School under coaches Jenny Liang and Catherine Ramirez Orr, Johnson earned multiple honors, including two All-League and two All-Academic selections, as well as USA Cheer All-American and STUNT MVP recognition. At HPU, she is pursuing a degree in environmental science with aspirations of working in the environmental and climate science industry. She chose Hawai‘i Pacific for its unique values, location, and opportunities to study sustainability beyond the classroom while competing at the collegiate level.
