Paige Aponte, a 5’1 flyer, base, and tumbler from Bend, Oregon, brings multi-sport athleticism to the Sharks’ Acrobatics and Tumbling program. A product of Baker Allprep Early College, she was coached by Zoe Plummer in cheer and also competed in gymnastics, wrestling, and softball, earning varsity letters across three sports. In her senior year, Aponte was recognized as a member of the All-State Cheer Team, highlighting her skill and versatility. At HPU, she is pursuing a degree in marine biology, combining her love for science and animals with her passion for athletics. She chose Hawai‘i Pacific as the perfect place to pursue her academic and athletic goals while living in a warm climate and following what she describes as a sign from God to continue her journey.
