Daniel Winograd

  • Title
    Graduate Assistant Coach
Graduate assistant coach Daniel Winograd is going into his fifth year at HPU, and his first with acrobatics and tumbling.  He spent three years on the HPU’s Large Coed Cheer team, and was a graduate assistant coach for the cheer team last year.

Prior to HPU, he attended and cheered at Navarro College and Kilgore College.  With a national title at Navarro, and three more at HPU on his resume, he is excited to transfer his skill set and experience over to the emerging college sport of A&T.

Daniel was instantly intrigued by A&T as he saw it as taking all of the competitive skills he enjoyed in cheer, and transferring them into a format that created a true college sport.  He is excited to be a graduate assistant coach for HPU’s first season of A&T, and is ready for this new chapter in the HPU legacy.

Daniel graduated with honors from HPU in 2012 with his BSBA in Finance.  He is currently working on his MBA in Finance and plans to graduate in May of 2014.  After graduation, Daniel has no plans to leave Hawaii, but is open to any opportunities.
