Brian Zablan is in his seventh season as an assistant coach for Hawai‘i Pacific University, joining the program in the Fall of 2018. 2024 marked the best season since Zablan entered the program with a 30-22 record. In 2024, he coached Kota Suzuki who was a First Team All-Conference selection as well as an All-West Region selection. In the 2022 season Brian coached Cole Kashimoto and DJ Stephens who were both PacWest All-Conference selections.
Zablan is the Sharks first base coach and works primarily with the Shark outfielders.
Zablan has been instrumental in his work with Team Hawai‘i, Hawai‘i's top travel ball team along with over 20 years of experience coaching high school baseball in the islands.
