Skyler Yamamoto is entering his second season with the Sharks as the Strength and Conditioning Coach and Quality Control Coach. Yamamoto, in his first season helped the Sharks improve to 30-22, marking HPU's best season since 2016. 

Yamamoto currently works as a strength coach at Kamehameha Schools - Kapalama. A standout player at Aurora University, Yamamoto posted a 4.05 ERA, 11-2 record, 4 saves, in 106.2 innings pitched between 2018 and 2022. 

Yamamoto graduated from Aurora University with his Master's in exercise science. He is also a graduate of Moanalua High School.
