Braydn Sato returns to the Sharks for his second year from Waipahu, Hawai'i. The 5-foot-7 right-handed golfer is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing at Hawai'i Pacific.

Sato came to HPU after attending Kamehameha Schools Kapalama in Honolulu, where he earned four varsity letters in golf under coach Oliver Oliquiano and served as team captain for three seasons. He finished in the top 15 at the state championships as a junior and in the top 10 as a senior. He also placed in the top 10 at the ILH Championship as a senior and earned All-ILH First Team honors as a junior and senior. Sato earned his Associate of Arts degree with honors from HPU before graduating high school.

Sato chose HPU because he wanted to stay close to home and play collegiate golf. Away from the course, he enjoys photography. Looking ahead, he hopes to live a happy and healthy life in Hawai'i, possibly still competing in golf and working in the business industry. He was born in Honolulu and is the son of Mark Sato and Crystl Meyer-Sato.
