Jay Sakagami is a dedicated golfer from Renton, Washington. A four-year varsity letterman at Liberty High School under coach Jon Kinsley, he earned multiple honors including Honorable Mention, 1st Team All-KingCo, and membership in the National Honor Society. After competing at Bellevue College, Jay chose HPU for its strong golf program and location in Hawai‘i. In his free time, he enjoys drawing, listening to music, playing video games, hanging out with friends, and watching anime. His favorite foods include unagi (eel), ramen, dark chocolate, and salt and vinegar chips, while his favorite movies are the Mission Impossible series and Your Name. He looks up to Tiger Woods and hopes to be someone who enjoys his job in the future.
