Personal: Born in Cesis, Latvia...son of Evita and Valdis Libietis...has one brother Mikelis (18)...hobbies are playing tennis, basketball, ice hockey, surfing, and fishing...enjoys eating pineapple...favorite movies are Green Street Hooligans and Coach Carter...other favorites are music artist Jack Johnson and athletes Roger Federer and Kobe Bryant...in 10 years he would like to run his own business...chose HPU because of the good academic programs and outstanding men's tennis team.

Prior To HPU: Attended both Cesis City Night High School and Vidzemes University of Applied Sciences...played tennis for his father, Valdis...is a three-time Latvian singles champion and four-time doubles champion...held an ITA world juniors ranking of #516.
