Daniel Johnson joined the Hawai‘i Pacific University Athletics Department as the Assistant Athletic Director of Facilities and Events after serving as an assistant baseball coach for the Sharks following his graduation from HPU.
Johnson brings a strong background in collegiate athletics, having played baseball at the University of Akron and Gateway Community College before finishing his playing career at Hawai‘i Pacific University. During his three seasons with the Sharks, he served as team captain and earned All-Conference honors twice.
Johnson graduated from HPU with a bachelor's degree in Strategic Communication. Following graduation, he remained with the program as an assistant baseball coach, helping support player development and team operations.
In his current role as Assistant Athletic Director of Facilities and Events, Johnson oversees athletic facility operations and coordinates events that support the student-athlete experience and the continued success of HPU Athletics
