Fabian Rummel joins the Hawai?i Pacific University men's soccer program as an assistant coach, bringing playing/coaching experience across collegiate, youth, and elite development environments in the United States and Germany.

Rummel currently serves as Director of Coaching for the soccer program at 808 FC, his second stop making an impact in Hawai?i after serving as Director of Technical Development at Kona Crush Soccer Academy on Big Island. He has also coached  across MLS NEXT, high school, and youth levels.

Rummel scouts for 1. FC Köln's International Talent Program and has co-organized showcases in Hawai?i and California, a pipeline that has sent players to Germany to train and trial.

Originally from Sonderhofen, Germany, Rummel played college soccer at the NCAA Division II level for Upper Iowa University, where he earned his MBA in 2022 in addition to bachelor's degree from Germany. He holds a UEFA B License and a U.S. Soccer National B License and has completed advanced coaching education through the French Football Federation.
