Jackson Boxall joins Hawai’i Pacific University as the Head Men’s Tennis Coach in August of
2026. Boxall served in a variety of coaching roles, including head coach at Valencia High School
(2019–2021), an assistant/interim head women’s coach at Whittier College (2024), he also spent
time as an Assistant Coach at and the University of Redlands (2025), and Biola University
(2025-2026).
During Boxall’s tenure at Biola University the men’s team achieved a No. 22 national ranking in
NCAA Division II and reach the Sweet 16 round in the DII Men’s Tennis National
Championships, which was a first in Biola’s history, as well as the first PacWest Tournament
Championship Match appearance in program history. Under Boxall, the men defeated many
nationally ranked programs including a win against Azusa Pacific. Boxall coached an
All-American Doubles selection and ITA West Region Doubles Champions in Angel Guerrero
Melgar and Alejandro Flores Monteverde, multiple other All PacWest selections, and the best
record in program history. The women’s team achieved a national ranking, a 5th place finish in
the PacWest, wins over nationally ranked programs including Fresno Pacific, multiple All
PacWest selections, and a winning record.
While at the University of Redlands, the men’s team achieved a No. 15 national ranking in
NCAA Division III and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, while the
women’s team reached as high as No. 19 nationally. Two players qualified for the NCAA
Individual Championships, and his teams earned multiple conference honors, including two First
Team SCIAC selections for the men, as well as one First Team and one Second Team SCIAC
selection for the women.
At Whittier College, Boxall coached the program’s first all-conference women’s player since
2019 and guided a singles player to a quarterfinal appearance in the Ojai Tournament.
Boxall competed collegiate men's tennis at Glendale Community College (2020, 2022), the
University of Puget Sound (2021), and Ottawa University Arizona (2022). He ended his career
with an overall winning record in collegiate play and played first court at Glendale and the
University of Puget Sound. Boxall was also a standout player at Valencia High School, where he
was a three-time First Team All-League selection, two-time Player of the Year, two-time Doubles
Champion, an All-Los Angeles/Southern California Area Team pick. He also made it to the
round of 32 of the CIF Individual Tournament.
Originally from Santa Clarita, California, Boxall earned his Bachelor’s of Arts. in Psychology
from Arizona State University
