Looney led the Sharks to their first PacWest Conference Championship in school history with wins over Dixie Stat and Chaminade. He averaged 17.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.5 steals, 2.0 assists and 1.0 blocks for the week. He scored 24 points with eight rebounds, four steals and four assists in the Sharks 76-66 win over Dixie State, then scored 11 points with three steals and two blocks in the win at Chaminade.
