Sea Warriors Dropped By Seasiders

Honolulu, HI (2/2/11) – Despite a quick start and a huge night from Jason Jackson, Hawaii Pacific fell to BYU-Hawaii, 86-75 at the Blaisdell Center. Jackson posted 32 points and 10 rebounds, but it was not enough as HPU dropped to 10-11 overall and 5-4 inside the Pacific West Conference.

HPU led the majority of the first half and by as many as six, but the Seasiders would rally and take a 30-29 lead at the half. The game remained close early in the second half; a Royal Edwards basket gave HPU its final lead at 16:38 mark. From there, sharpshooting from distance, and solid transition offense lifted BYU-H.
