Volleyball Storms Back for Five Set Victory

San Rafael, CA (October 28th, 2012)- The Hawai'i Pacific women's volleyball team earned a dramatic come from behind victory at Domincan University of Calfornia, rallying from down 0-2 to win in five sets.(22-25, 17-25, 25-21, 25-22, 15-10)

After the match coach Daryl Kapis commented on his team's dramatic comeback, "Despite being exhausted from playing five games in eight days we found enough energy to pull off a win after trailng Dominican 0-2. I'm happy for how our team dug deep for this win. This is the kind of victory that will help pull our team together as we go into the final stretch of the season." Coach Kapis specifically singled out the play of Hannah Schuett and Kara Wong as keys to victory, "Hannah came in and gave us a real spark as we adjusted to a two setter system and Kara  was solid in serving for the nght which kept the pressure on the other team."

Volleyball returns to the islands on November 3rd to host the Unversty of Hawaii at Hilo, at St Andrew's Priory; the match is scheduled to begin at 5PM.
