Alejandro Porras who was the man of the match, tallying a goal and four assists.
Daniel Haehre started the scoring in the 35th minute with a deep shot from just outside the 18 yard box off a feed from Porras, giving HPU a 1-0 lead. Just 59 seconds later Porras would find a cutting
Keenan Ho who beat the Vulcan keeper to make it 2-0. HPU would go to the break with a two goal lead and a 12-3 advantage in shots.
The Sea Warriors would keep the pressure on in the second period after

Guillem Vinas Marin on a give-and-go in the 72nd minute and a header from
Kainoa Kahui in the 74th minute. Porras would assist on both goals giving him six points for the match. UH Hilo ended Mael Lefebrve's shutout bid, scoring with 13 seconds left in the match after some confusion over who the throw in belonged to.
