Box Score KANEOHE, HI (October 23, 2013)—The Hawai`i Pacific Men's Soccer Team (7-4-2, 5-4-2) dropped its match against inter-island rival UH Hilo (5-6-1, 3-5-1) by the score of 2-0.

The Vulcans stuck early, scoring just 1:37 into the game, putting HPU in an early hole.

Kamali Webson nearly tied the match at one in the 37
th minute when his shot on a bicycle kick glanced of the post.

Despite out shooting the Vulcans 6-3 in the first half HPU went to the break trailing 1-0.

The comeback bid became much more difficult for HPU in when the Vulcans scored their second goal of the match in the 68
th minute pushing the deficit to 2-0.

With a two-goal lead, UH Hilo tightened up defensively allowing the Sea Warriors just one more shot on goal in the second half.

Junior forward
Brais Garcia led the offensive charge taking three shots on the stingy Vulcan defense while Webson was active from his defensive position registering two shots of his own.

The loss drops the Sea Warriors to a fourth-place tie in the Pacific West Conference Standings.
