Men’s Soccer Draws with Fresno Pacific

Box Score WAIPIO, HAWAII (October 1, 2015)—After 110 minutes of intense action on the pitch, the Hawaii Pacific men's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw with visiting Fresno Pacific University in a PacWest Conference contest at Waipio Peninsula Soccer Park's Field 5.

The Sharks (4-2-1, 2-0-1 PacWest) established an 11-10 shot advantage over their opponents through 90 minutes of regulation and two 10-minute overtime frames. Goalkeeper Eduardo Palacios notched six saves in the match that yielded seven yellow-card cautions.
 
The Sunbirds (5-1-2, 2-0-1) were led by keeper Andrew Luis, who racked up seven saves between the pipes.
 
HPU departs for a four-match road trip, which begins on Oct. 6 at Point Loma in San Diego at 3:30 p.m. The Sharks also play Concordia University (Calif.) in Irvine, Calif., on Oct. 8 at 3 p.m., Azusa Pacific University on Oct. 10 at 3 p.m. and at Chaminade University on Oct. 17 at 3:30 p.m.
