Box Score SAN DIEGO, CALIF. (October 6, 2015)—The Hawaii Pacific men's soccer team fell 3-1 to Point Loma Nazarene University in a PacWest Conference contest at PLNU's soccer field.

The Sharks (4-3-1, 2-1-1 PacWest) suffered their first conference defeat of the 2015 campaign and lost a match for the first time in six contests, a run that included four consecutive wins and a draw. In defeat, HPU's Erik Kemsies scored his third goal of the season in the 70^th minute after a crafty spin move led to a right-footed shot from 15 yards out.
 
The Sea Lions (4-3-1, 3-1) took the lead early when, at 9:27, Daniel Ten Bosch scored on an assist from Manu Montal. Indiana Fuller scored in the 62^nd minute to put the home team up 2-0, and after Kemsies narrowed the margin to one goal, Montal put things out of reach by scoring on a bad pass from Sharks goalkeeper Eduardo Palacios just minutes before the end of regulation.
 
HPU continues its four-match road trip with contests at Concordia University in Irvine, Calif., on Oct. 8 at 3 p.m., Azusa Pacific University on Oct. 10 at 3 p.m. and Chaminade University on Oct. 17 at 3:30 p.m.
