Box Score LAIE, Hawaii (November 24, 2015) – The Hawaii Pacific men's basketball team notched its first victory of the season with an 82-66 triumph over Chapman University at the Cannon Activities Center.
Sharks senior guard
Joel Feigler led the way with a game-high 18 points on six-of-12 shooting from the field.
Clayton Guy pulled down eight rebounds and
Connor Looney dished out seven assists and added two 3-pointers in the win.
The Sharks (1-2) jumped out to a 45-23 halftime lead thanks in part to 16 points from Feigler.
HPU amassed 24 points stemming from 20 Chapman turnovers and led both the points-in-the-paint (34-28) and second-chance-points (14-6) battles.
The Panthers (2-1) received 13 points from Luke Hamlin, while teammate Davis Dragovich racked up eight rebounds.
HPU returns to action on Nov. 28 and 29 to face Grace Bible and Western Washington University. Both games are at Moanalua High School and are slated to tip off at 2 p.m.
