Box Score WAIPIO, HAWAII (September 28, 2015)—Jackson Groves' header with less than three minutes remaining in double overtime helped propel the Hawaii Pacific men's soccer team to a dramatic 1-0 win over visiting Notre Dame de Namur University in a PacWest Conference contest at Waipio Peninsula Soccer Park.

The Sharks (4-2, 2-0 PacWest) turned to Groves, a physical player known for his defense, who headed the ball stemming from Erik Kemsies' corner kick past the diving Argonauts goalkeeper Alex Clewis.
 
The Argonauts (2-4, 1-1) out-shot HPU 11-8 in regulation, but the Sharks pushed the pace in bonus time to the tune of a 5-0 shot advantage. Eduardo Palacios kept a clean sheet for HPU through 108 minutes of action and racked up five saves in the winning effort.
 
HPU returns to the pitch on Thursday, Oct. 1 at 3 p.m. at Atherton Field to face Fresno Pacific University in a PacWest Conference matchup.
