Connor Looney poured in a career-high 30 points, while
Jordan Martin chipped in a career-best 26 points to accompany nine rebounds and three steals, and propelled the Hawaii Pacific men's basketball team past Chaminade 90-85 in PacWest Conference action at McCabe Gym.
The Sharks (16-7 overall, 11-5 PacWest) also received 15 points, eight rebounds and two blocks from senior forward
Joel Feigler. Looney and Martin drained five 3-point baskets apiece to help visiting HPU come out on top of a game that featured 20 lead changed and seven ties.
Feigler has now blocked 37 shots in the last 15 games. The Las Vegas native and Central Arkansas transfer is averaging upwards of 11 points, four rebounds and two blocks per game this season.
The Silverswords (10-13, 8-8) received 21 points from Sam Daly and 18 points from Kuany Kuany.
The Sharks took a 49-47 halftime lead thanks in part to Looney's 17 first-half points and four treys. Martin drained three triples and posted 13 points in the opening stanza, which featured eight lead changes.
HPU returns home to Moanalua High School for a tilt against Notre Dame de Namur on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 3 p.m.
