Kayla Sanchez put HPU up 4-0.
The Swords got a run back in the bottom of the second after an error setup an RBI single to cut the lead to 4-1. HPU got that back in the fifth after pinch runner

The Swords added a run in their half of the seventh to make the final 10-2.
Game Two
Chaminade held a brief 1-0 lead as Rainelle Matsuoka led off the Swords first inning with a home run to left field. But that was the only time the Swords led as HPU pulled away with a 9-1 win in five innings.
When the Sharks came up in the second, HPU collected seven runs before going back out to the field.
After getting two on board, Toyama tripled to drive in Leonard and
Nicole Viena to take the lead. Santiago followed with an RBI single, followed by walks to Dias and Sanchez. Tovio-Asato then sent a 2-1 pitch over the fence in left center field alley for the first grand slam of her collegiate career.
HPU plated two more in the fifth inning on a two RBI single by Sanchez for a 9-1 lead.
Leonard allowed a leadoff walk in the bottom of the fifth before shutting down the next three Swords hitters to run-rule CUH. Leonard allowed the one run on four hits, with a strikeout and five walks in gaining her second win.
