Biography

Personal: Toyama was born in Honolulu, HI…nickname is Riko…hobbies include sleeping, going to the beach, eating a lot of food and going on adventures with friends…favorite foods are pizza, sushi, easy mac, and ice cream…favorite movies are The Proposal and Step Brothers…favorite musical artists are Tupac, Kendrick, J Cole, G-Eazy and Luke Bryan… favorite athlete is Christiano Ronaldo…majoring in Public Health…in 10 years she would like to have a successful job…chose HPU for the school and opportunity to play softball
 
Prior to HPU: Graduated from Maryknoll High School where she played softball…played varsity all four years…earned All-State Second Team her senior year and Honorable Mention her sophomore and junior years…also played softball for Coach Rick Noren at Saint Martin’s University in Lacey WA
 
HPU: 2016- played in 42  games and started in 39. In 85 at-bats she scored six runs, and walked eleven times. She drove in five RBI’s on 14 hits and stole one base. She has 114 putouts, 20 assists, and a .950 fielding percentage.  2015- played in 44  games and started in 41. In 44 at-bats she scored nine runs, and walked five times. She drove in eight RBI’s on eleven hits and stole two bases. She has 116 putouts, 26 assists, and a .947 fielding percentage.
