The Sharks (4-2) dropped game one to the Saints (1-5) 12-6, but came back to claim the nightcap 6-1. The second game was moved to Friday night to avoid a potential weather problem on Sunday.

Evan-Thomas May of Buena Park, Calif./Oxford Academy, went four innings for his second save of the season with two strikeouts while allowing a run on four hits.
Offensively, senior shortstop

The Sharks defense saw 10 errors, five in each game, in the twin bill.
The Saints broke open game one with a five-run third inning, crushing six hits that made a loser out of junior righthander
Tyler Van Stone of Henderson, Nev./Foothill for the first time this season. Van Stone (1-1) went 4.2 innings with two strikeouts while allowing six runs – five earned – on 12 hits.
Junior lefty

Wyatt Hoppie of Orange, Calif./Villa Park. HPU added two more in the fifth on a Hoppie sacrifice fly and a wild pitch that plated Tokunaga.
In the sixth HPU collected the rest of its runs on an RBI bunt single by senior catcher
