HPU Selects Williams as Assistant Athletic Director of Compliance

HONOLULU — Hawai'i Pacific University has named Scott Williams as Assistant Athletics Director, Compliance. HPU Executive Director of Athletics Vince Baldemor made the announcement on Monday.

Williams replaces Natasa Revere, who resigned after 11 years at HPU to spend more time with her family.

"I'm pleased to promote Scott within the Sharks 'ohana," said Baldemor. "He has proven himself in working in our compliance program and has an outstanding business background before entering intercollegiate athletics. We welcome him to an expanded role at HPU."

"I am super excited for this opportunity," said Williams. "Thank you to Vince and the HPU 'ohana for allowing me to serve in this important role. I'm fortunate to have learned so much from Natasa and her leadership."

Williams spent the last year as a compliance assistant at HPU while earning his master of professional studies in sports industry management from Georgetown University. He also interned in HPU's sports information office in the spring of 2017.

Prior to coming to HPU, Williams was a business analyst for BAE Systems Hawaii in Honolulu, and Centeva, LLC in Washington, D.C.

Williams was awarded his masters in May 2018 from Georgetown, and earned a bachelor of arts in communication from George Mason University in May 2008. He also studied at Brigham Young University-Idaho.

Additionally, Williams serves as an advisor to the Ko'olau Sports Association, as a youth soccer coach, a volunteer at the Sony Open and a volunteer with other community groups in and around his home in Kaneohe.

He and his wife Jodi have two sons, Max and Jac. The family lives in Kaneohe.
