The Vulcans and Sharks battled through five ties and swapped the lead through the first 4:20 of the contest when Noblett tied the game at 10-10 on a layup in the first quarter. After a defensive stop, the Sharks took the lead they wouldn't give up on a Rivera 3-pointer with 5:04 to play in the first as part of a 9-1 run.
