HONOLULU – The Hawai 'I Pacific University volleyball team had its match against Point Loma canceled on Saturday night, but the Sharks used the opportunity to honor their seniors.
 
The match was canceled about two hours prior to start time because of PacWest Conference COVID protocols. The match will not be made up and in accordance with PacWest Conference sport regulations was declared a no contest.
 
The Sharks honored seniors Kirah Boynton-Brown, Lauren Christie, Nicole Ferris, Abby Gunderson, Emily Johnson, Emily Joseph and Cara McClean in Senior Night activities before playing a one-set intra-squad match. The Seniors beat the Underclass Sharks 25-20.
 
The Sharks final contest of the season is on the Big Island next Saturday night when they play at Hawai'i Hilo. Match time is set for 7 p.m.
