Jeremy Zielinski Named D2CCA All-West Region

POMONA, Calif. – Hawai'i Pacific University goalkeeper Jeremy Zielinski has been selected to the 2021 Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-West Region Men's Soccer Team announced recently.
 
Zielinski, a senior from Sunnyvale, Calif./Homestead, was chosen to the All-West Region Second Team. He was the only Shark chosen on the D2CCA squad.
 
Zielinski, the PacWest Conference Goalkeeper of the Year and First Team All-PacWest Conference selection, helped lead the Sharks to their best season since 2015 with his excellent play in goal. Zielinski led the PacWest and ranked eighth nationally with eight shutouts, the sixth-best single season mark in PacWest history. He is 17th nationally in save percentage (.812) and 45th in total saves (65). He racked up a 1.07 Goals Against Average, the eighth-best season in PacWest history and ranks 59th nationally. He also ranks fifth in PacWest history with 13 career shutouts.
 
The Sharks finished the season in fourth place in the PacWest Conference, sporting an 8-6-2 overall record, 6-2-2 in PacWest play. I
