HONOLULU – The Hawai'i Pacific University women scored two goals, but gave up just as many as HPU and Hawai'i Hilo played to a 2-2 tie on Sunday at St. Louis Field.
The Sharks (0-1-3, 0-1-3) saw a two-goal first half lead evaporate in the 87th minute when the Vulcans (0-0-4, 0-0-4) scored off a free kick to knot the game at 2-all.
The Sharks grabbed the lead in the first half.
Junior midfielder

Caylie Uyema of Pearl City, Hawai'i/Pearl City gathered up a loose ball and put it into the back of the net unassisted.
The second half, the Vulcans scored twice. UHH scored in the 56th minute when Jodi Little followed her own missed shot and put it in to cut the HPU lead to 2-1.
Little used a followup to tie the contest in the 87th minute after an HPU team save saw the ball come back to Little and she answered for her second goal of the contest that made it 2-2.
