The Sharks hit .038 for the match with 6.5 team blocks, while the Swords hit .264 with just two team blocks.
Senior

The Sharks fell behind 8-1 in the first set to the Swords and never recovered. HPU trailed 23-13 before falling 25-16.
The second set wasn't much better, as the Sharks trailed 13-3 to CUH. The Swords just kept the Sharks at bay until grabbing the 25-12 win.
HPU opened with the lead in the third set, then swapped six times with the Swords. HPU built a 13-10 advantage after a Collie kill and a Sword attack error, forcing a CUH timeout. A Silversword 5-0 run followed and the Sharks never led again. The Sharks closed the gap to one at 22-21, but an HPU attack error gave the momentum back to Chaminade that rode it out to 25-22 win to claim the match.
The Sharks have their final two contests of the season on Sunday. At 9 a.m., HPU plays its only non-conference match of the season when they take on Alaska Anchorage in the tourney. HPU then closes the season at 1 p.m. against host Hawai'i Hilo. Both contests are a Vulcan Gymnasium.
