HONOLULU — The Hawai'i Pacific University Athletics Department announced the appointments of Skylynn Nanoo and
Alex Anderson as Assistant Athletic Directors.
Nanoo was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director, Compliance and Deputy Title IX Coordinator. Anderson joins HPU as Assistant Athletic Director, Business Operations.
Nanoo, was promoted to the Assistant AD position after working the last four years in the HPU compliance office and serving as a women's soccer assistant coach. Nanoo was a four-year starter at defender/midfielder for the HPU women's soccer team, serving as team captain her final two seasons. She earned a Bachelor's in Mass Communications in 2017 and a Master's of Business Administration in 2019 from HPU.
Anderson joins Hawai'i Pacific after three years in the athletic business office at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, where he was involved in nearly all aspects of the daily business operations for the Rainbow Warriors and Wahine. He also worked in private business for two years before joining the team at UHM. Anderson was a four-time Big Sky Conference and Summit League champion in the triple jump (three outdoor, one indoor) at Southern Utah University. He graduated with a Bachelor's of Business in Finance in 2014 and a Master's of Business Administration in 2015 from Southern Utah.
