Sharks Volleyball Fall in Straight Sets to Concordia

IRVINE, CALIF. - The Hawaii Pacific University women's volleyball team fell 3-0 to Concordia Irvine Thursday night at CU Arena.

The Sharks (0-13, 0-7) could not get out of the slump against the Eagles (8-7, 5-3).

A slow night had the Sharks drop three straight sets, 25-14, 25-22, 25-7.

Freshman middle Marley Sandoval was a bright spot in the less-than-ideal night as she recorded her third double-digit kill night. With her recent performance, she climbs into a tie for most kills on the team with 82.

The Sharks complete their road trip on Saturday, Oct. 1, against Biola, set to start at noon HT.
