HONOLULU-- The Hawai'i Pacific University volleyball team hosts Chaminade on Thursday night at The Shark Tank for the first conference matchup of the season. The Sharks (0-6) look end the skid of six loses to start the season, while the Silverswords (5-6) have won their last two matchups.

NEWS AND NOTES
- HPU is searching for its first victory after starting this season 0-6.
- Graduate outside hitter Riley Gill leads the Sharks offensively with 38 recorded kills averaging 2.24 kills/set.
- Another bright spot in the HPU attack comes from freshman middle blocker Marley Sandoval who has accumulated 28 kills. On the other side of the ball, she also leads the team in blocks/set (0.8) and total blocks (12).
- Freshman outside hitter Lindsey Tapp has been getting it done on the defensive end with her team-leading 35 digs, followed closely by outside hitter Gill at 29.
