The Hawaii Pacific University volleyball team fought hard but ultimately fell 3-1 to PacWest leader Chaminade on Friday night at the Shark Tank in Honolulu, HI. The Sharks started strong, taking the first set 25-23, but Chaminade responded to win the next three (25-16, 25-11, 25-18). Despite the loss, HPU showed resilience and determination.

HPU put up a strong defensive effort, with Schoene leading in blocks and Pescaia contributing both offensively and defensively with 17 assists and 9 digs. Despite these efforts, the Sharks were outmatched by Chaminade's powerful attack. The team will regroup and look to build on these efforts as they prepare for the next match.
