Honolulu, HI - The HPU womens basketball team finished strong at home with a 74-62 victory against Chaminade on senior night. In a year with many ups and down, the Sharks came together to beat a Chaminade team that got the better of them earlier in the season.

Ella Berge dropped 10 points in her final game at the Shark tank while freshman Morgan Hawkins added 15 to continue an impressive freshman season. Freshman Nicole Wertenberger scored 12 points and added to the impressive play from the freshman players. The future is definitely bright for the Sharks.

Dezaray Carter had 13 points for Chaminade but it was not enough to overcome a dominating first half for the Sharks where they jumped out to a 40-18 led.

The Sharks will wrap up their season at Hilo this Saturday, March 1st.
