LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Hawai'i Pacific men's and women's golf wrapped up competition at the Pacific West Conference Championships at Aliante Golf Club, with both teams showing resilience and strong individual efforts across three rounds.
On the men's side, the Sharks finished seventh overall with a team score of 898, highlighted by a strong final round of 288 to close the tournament.
Rico See led HPU with a three-round total of 224 (+8), finishing tied for 20th after back-to-back rounds of 71 to end the tournament.
Miles Atkinson and Kyle Krupp each finished tied for 26th at 228 (+12), both improving in the final round, while Shion Suzuki (230, +14) and Dylan Sakasegawa (231, +15) rounded out the lineup.
On the women's side, Hawai'i Pacific placed fifth overall with a team score of 925 (315–306–304).
Isabella Iorio led the Sharks with an impressive third-place finish at 219 (−3), posting rounds of 73, 72, and 74 to secure one of the top individual performances of the tournament.
Shuiyun He added a tied-for-14th finish at 229 (+13), while Momoko Kawakita (238, +22), Paige Sur (242, +26), and Giuliana Rovetti (244, +28) contributed to the team score.
Both programs showed consistency down the stretch, with the men matching their best round of the event in round three and the women improving their score each round to close out competition.
