HONOLULU — Hawaiʻi Pacific University Athletics is proud to announce a new partnership with Athletes Thread, a national leader in officially licensed Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) merchandise and trading cards. The partnership gives HPU student-athletes the opportunity to launch their own officially licensed apparel, jerseys, and trading cards, connecting them with supporters in Honolulu and far beyond.
With student-athletes who come to HPU from across the Hawaiian Islands, the mainland United States, and around the world, the partnership creates a new way for fans, family members, alumni, and supporters to celebrate their favorite Sharks—whether it's a jersey shipped home to proud parents or a trading card added to a collector's collection.

"Our partnership with Athletes Thread creates another opportunity for our student-athletes to build their personal brands, connect with family, friends, alumni, and fans around the world, and benefit from the evolving NIL landscape. We're excited to work alongside Athletes Thread as we continue supporting our Sharks both on and off the field of play."
Athletes Thread partners with more than 415 colleges and universities nationwide and supports over 50,000 student-athletes through custom apparel, jerseys, trading cards, and personalized designs. Each participating student-athlete receives an individual online storefront where officially licensed products can be purchased by fans and supporters.

The partnership also gives alumni, families, and supporters another avenue to engage with HPU Athletics and celebrate the accomplishments of Sharks across all sports.
