Biography

Personal: Born in Honolulu...daughter of Nelson and Hatsumi Deguchi...has one sister Cynthia (18)...nickname is Guchi...enjoys eating, sleeping, watching TV, and hanging out with friends...favorite foods are sushi and other Japanese cuisine...in 10 years she would like to be happily married with a job.

Prior To HPU: A graduate of Mililani High School in Hawai'i...her team won the league title in her junior and senior seasons...earned All-League and All-State honors in both seasons...played her club soccer at Real Rush Soccer Club...team placed second nationally in US Club soccer in 2006.

HPU: 2013: Begins fourth season. 2012: Deguchi played in eight matches, starting three. 2011: Played in 17 matches, starting 15 of them...recorded one shot on goal  2010: Played and started in 16 matches, was on the field for 1,098 minutes.
