Prior to HPU: Ryo played soccer at Teikyo High School in Tokyo, Japan where he played as a right back...played at Phoenix College as a midfielder under head coach Dave Cameron...earned first team All-Region I, first team All-Arizona Community College Athletic Conference, 2013 ACCAC Men's Soccer Player of the Year and All-American
 
HPU: 2015- Started in all 17 matches he played in...scored three goals with two assists for eight points...took 17 shots(.176) with nine on goal(.529)...scored one game winning goal against Chaminade(9/19)  2014- Played in 11 matches, starting 11…scored one goal and passed out three assists…took eight shots, two on goal…his goal vs. BYU-Hawaii (9/1) was the game winner
