Prior to HPU: Groves played at Adelaide High School as a center midfielder...announced as the open Boys Captain...played at Oregon State as a center midfielder under coach Simmons...selected to the 2013 PAC 12 All-Academic first team...made 18 appearances for the Beavers as a sophomore, 11 of them starts...registered a goal and an assist in arguably the NCAA Division I's toughest conference
 
HPU: 2015- Started in 16 games...scored one goal with two assists...took 15 shots(.067) with two on goal(.133)...scored the game winning goal against Notre Dame De Namur in double-overtime (9/28)... named to the All PacWest First Team...selected to the NSCAA Third Team 2014- Started 17 matches…scored six goals…took 13 shots, 11 on goal…had three game winners…scored two goals in two separate games…named to the All-PacWest second team…named PacWest Defender of the Week (10/20)…selected to All-Region third team…named team MVP
