Personal: Born in Honolulu, HI…is the child of Liana and Esmond Kilaulani…has two siblings, Katelyn (11) and Keali’i (6)...her  hobbies are hiking, playing the guitar/ukulele, and enjoying the beach…her  favorite foods are bacon and oreos…favorite movie is Laugh at My Pain…favorite musical artist is Rebelution….favorite athlete is Mita Uiato…majoring in Architectural Engineering…chose HPU because of the close proximity to home and the one of a kind diverse environment….in 10 years Kayla would like to be the designer of the biggest fashion mall in the United States

Prior to HPU: Graduated from Leilehua High School in Wahiawa…played volleyball for Larry Cantero…was named Leilehua High School 2013 MVP

HPU: 2016 - Played in 28 matches (88 sets) racking up 120 digs and a total of 17 service aces. 2015- Played in 28 matches, starting three (102 sets)...had 36 assists...averaged 1.64 digs (167)...recorded one kill and 13 aces 2014- Played in 24 matches (82 sets), starting two…averaged 1.51 digs per set…added one kill, five aces and seven assists
