Personal: Born in Kailua, Hawai‘i…daughter of Tuesday and Jeff Pires...has an older brother, Cliffton (22)…enjoys softball, shopping, listening to reggae music, and hanging out with friends…her favorite foods are Mexican and Hawaiian…and her favorite athlete is Lovie Jung...chose HPU because of its softball program and the chance to be close to home and her mother.
High School: A graduate of Kalaheo High School in Kailua, Hawai‘i...lettered in softball under Coaches John Spenser and Al Cofran, in volleyball under Coach Ed Chun, and in basketball under Coach Jack Thomas…named the 2009 Kalaheo High School Female Athlete of the Year...selected to the All-OIA East Second-Team as a pitcher.
HPU: 2013: Begins fouth season.
2012: Played in 38 games, started in 37 games...hit .248 with 12 runs, three doubles, two triples, two home runs, 19 RBI, and 15 walks.
2011: Played and started in 50 games...hit .321 with 31 runs, 12 doubles, three triples, six home runs, 31 RBI's, 12 walks, and two stolen bases.
2010: Played and started in 55 games...posted 48 hits, five doubles and five homeruns...finished the season with a .289 batting average...recorded 24 runs and 28 RBI.
