Previous Performance 2016:  
Lara spent her entire 2017 season at 2^nd singles for the sharks boasting an incredible record of 17-2 overall. As for her doubles matches, she played both 1^st doubles (with teammate Barbora Kijasova) posting a record of 9-7, and 2^nd doubles (with teammate Leticia dos Santos) with a record of 4-2. Lara received All-American Honors last season as well as earning the honor of being  the National ITA Player to Watch.  She finished the season with an ITA West Region ranking of 14 in singles play and 13 in doubles play with Barbora Kijasova.

In 10 years where do you see yourself?: In a cabin in the woods with my wolves
What made you choose HPU?: A lot of players told me really good things about HPU and its tennis team. Talking with Lauren, she seemed like a really good person and coach. The location made me choose HPU, and I will probably never get to see Hawaii again in my life. I’m very happy with my choice
