Biography

Philip Berberg Stavnem joins the Sharks from Telemark Toppidrett Gymnas in Norway. The 6-foot right back is pursuing a degree in Business Administration at Hawai?i Pacific.

Stavnem developed his game at Telemark Toppidrett Gymnas under head coach Simon Disch before continuing his education at BI Norwegian Business School. He chose HPU because of its international environment, coaching staff, and the opportunity to live and study in Hawai?i while continuing his soccer career.

Away from the pitch, Stavnem enjoys learning about the stock market, spending time at the beach, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Looking ahead, he hopes to build a successful future while one day becoming a father.
