Evan Wright joins the Sharks in his fourth year after competing at Suffolk University. The 5-foot-11 runner from St. Louis, Missouri, is pursuing a degree in Marine Biology at Hawai'i Pacific.

Wright began his collegiate career at Suffolk University in Boston, where he competed in cross country and indoor and outdoor track under coach Will Feldman. He earned conference titles in indoor and outdoor track as a freshman. Prior to college, he attended DeSoto Central High School in Southaven, Mississippi, where he competed in soccer, cross country and track and earned three varsity letters. He qualified for the state meet all four years in cross country, won the district title twice in cross country, won the district title in outdoor track and competed at the North State meet in track. He played left wing and left forward in soccer. His cross country and track coach was Tyler Fennenma.

Wright chose HPU because it was where he saw himself completing his degree in Marine Biology, and because it seemed like a great place for new opportunities. In his free time, he enjoys reading, hiking and looking for new adventures. He was born in St. Louis.
